Tired of the same old solitaire games? Try Blackout Solitaire.

There are hundreds of solitaire games in the App Store to choose from, so why would you download another one? Because Blackout Solitaire is a brand new solitaire game. I created Blackout Solitaire for those, like me who enjoy solitaire and puzzle games, but are looking for something new in a card game.

The rules are quite simple. Each empty square on the board needs to have at least one card placed in it and every card placed must be flipped over to win the game. To flip the cards, you must fill in a row of connecting cards and that row is flipped. Fill and flip all rows before you run out of cards and you win the game.

Each game is started with a joker that is wild and will match any card. There is also one other joker randomly shuffled into the deck that is also wild.

Cards must be placed next to another card and must match any neighboring cards by either suit or face value.

Once a card has been flipped, another card can be placed in that space, but it must also be flipped in order to win the game.

There is also a discard pile if you cant (or dont want to) use the next card. Once a card is discarded, it is out of play and cannot be used to complete the board.

The rules may be simple, but winning is not always so simple. This game requires both the luck of the draw and card placement strategy.

❋ There are 9 different board layouts to play, each requiring its own strategy in order to win.

❋ The cards have been designed in high resolution with large, easy to identify numbers and suit images.

❋ There is also an easy mode that lets you match cards by suit color, making it easy for even young children to play.

Also included is a stats screen that keeps a record of wins, losses, and winning percentage for each board layout and for total of all boards. Statistics for easy mode are kept separately. The stats display are for the mode you are currently set to.
